FF Realm Reborn... Or Realm Refreshed

Expect a lot more about this to be added at later dates as I have only been playing for a week. I am currently unable to access the server so thought I would start off. My failure at accessing the server is reflected in the title my hubby has given it, realm refreshed. Of the time I have been actually able to get into this game I have to say it is probably my perfect MMO. I love Final fantasy and I love WoW so this is the perfect MMO for me.
I have attended my very first LAN party with this game so I feel like I am now truly a geek. As an awesome Gladiator Cat woman named Yoruichi Loire, I roam the world fighting enemies in the name of the immortal flames! I feel very much immersed into the experience, even when Mr Popo runs past on a chocobo and Bum Da is dancing on a table. Me and friends have begun an awesome casual guild on Phoenix server named Neo SeeD, busting through dungeons like pros. Hubby seems to have grown an odd addiction of taking photos of his giant female character sitting on rocks...

One of my first enemy kill quests was with the beloved cactuars but they are unfortunately not of the retro style I love and more ff12 style. I got my own chocobo quite early on and named him Repede and my own retainer man named Toshiro, the little loloffel (I understand that this is not correct, but it's how I say it.)
Hopefully Neo SeeD can continue their successful dungeon runs and our archer stops suffering from over confidence :D
Did I mention that my husband likes taking pictures of his character sitting on a rock looking moody.

Mathematical!

At some point this year, this happened with friends. Spare time and plasticine, good times.....

Animal Crossing : New Leaf

Been a while since I last completed a game....I seem to have started very many long or not finish-able games. So watch this space for Xenoblade, Xillia, Realm Reborn and Persona as these are like to take up most my time! But first Animal Crossing!
So I've had this game since June but as you can't really complete it I wasn't sure when a good time to have a rant about it would be. Now is the time!!
So it starts on a train and you think 'Yay moving to a new town!' But then for some reason all the animal citizens of this town have taken some serious memory displacement drug at some point in time and think you are the mayor. Cue many a day spent collecting fish, bugs and selling anything that may come into your possession so that you can pay off a seemingly endless loan leading to your 4x4 house one day becoming a home you can be proud of.......or a museum for nintendo memorabilia.
So your town gets allocated a certain randomly selected array of personalities and mine seem to have been picked from the back alley of an insane asylum. I originally had only two residents worth keeping which, through some awesome style choices, has been upgraded to three. Chief, the loveable fox rogue, Buck the friendliest guy in town and more recently, Pashmina, because she is now sporting the smartest threads in town. These are the elite of my town and who I must constantly run small fetching errands and delivery missions for so that they don't leave my humble Midgar for Bell End. (Yes my husband named his town Bell End.) I am constantly ignoring the other delinquents in hopes they would leave and be replaced with someone as cool as camo frog.
This game may sound simplistic with its constant fetching and carrying quests but I find myself addicted to making my town look nice and forever earning money to pay off the legend that is Sir Tom Nook. My house is decorated with the remnants of an underground lab and a horrifying scary Gyroid basement but I do have a lovely green room for when friends wish to stay. I may take interior decorating advice from my animal crossing home when I purchase a house IRL.....
If you're clever you can make your residents say the following:
Nice one Andy!
