The Assasin - Borderlands 2

Soooo this took a while to finish as I was playing through co-op with hubby and apparently he doesn't finish games :/ What an epic team we are though, now on our second play through. Hubby playing as Axton the commando and me as Zero in my sneaksuit. When I first put the disc in I was convinced I would be playing as Maya, the only female character available at the time, but the intro sequence sold the assasin to me.
We have finally exploded, slagged, corroded and ignited our way to victory and I am more in love with this franchise then ever before. Character development is amazing and the inclusion of the original borderlands cast made it all the more special. Handsome Jack is possibly one of the best villains out there (he has a diamond pony named butt stallion apparently) and characters like Tiny Tina make the experience all the more hilarious. Clap trap is still full of hilarious quips and the small nods at various other franchises (Donkey Kong, Minecraft, TMNT etc) are a welcome addition. This game is so unlike any other out there and it has enourmous replay value, well worth the release day asking price.
I am now a gambling addict thanks to this game, and although I have never won above a blue weapon in those slot machines I shall still continue to spend every last penny in them.....one day....
Recently a new character DLC has been announced. Say hello to krieg and his shiny meat bicycle....I WANT HIM!
